Loralie Kirkpatrick, Mistress of the Novices

Loralie Kirkpatrick is an active singer who has performed with orchestras and opera companies in Canada and the United States. With repertoire extending from early music to contemporary she is establishing herself

as a versatile and dynamic performer. Hailed as a strong singer and actress by Opera Canada, Loralie has performed with both Tony and Dora Award winning organizations. She has sung with companies including Soundstreams Canada, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Black Creek Festival Chorus, Toronto’s Opera in Concert, Toronto Operetta Theatre, Opera by Request, The Aradia Ensemble, Summer Opera Lyric Theatre, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, The Northern Lights Music Festival, The University of Minnesota’s Opera Theatre, the Manitoba Opera Association, and Rainbow Stage musical theatre. Loralie has recorded two CD’s with the Aradia Ensemble for the Naxos label. Loralie holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Minnesota and is a member of the voice faculty at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.
