Michael Anderson, 20, is a candidate for a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance at Manhattan School of Music.· Last summer, he attended Dolora Zajick’s Institute for Young Dramatic Voices, performing under the baton of Joel Revzen. This summer, he will portray

Gherardo in Gianni Schicchi and will sing the tenor solo in Mozart’s Requiem for the Opera on the Avalon Summer Music Festival. ·Recent performances have included the cover role for Uriel in Haydn's Die Schöpfung for the MSM Symphonic Chorus, conducted by Kent Tritle, and appearances as the tenor soloist with choirs in New Jersey in Saint Saëns’ Requiem and Handel’s Chandos Anthems, Anthem No. 6. He will appear later this summer as a tenor soloist in Verdi’s Requiem conducted by William Hobbs in Princeton, New Jersey.· Michael is a student of Mark Oswald.
